Doctoral Advisory Board
Doctoral advisory boards have been set up to advise the directorate of studies. They play a particularly important role in the faculty's public presentations. A doctoral advisory board can be responsible for one or more dissertation areas or a larger sub-area of a dissertation area in a curriculum. At the public presentations, they provide feedback on the dissertation projects presented and advise the directorate of studies on topic approval. The appointment of the doctoral advisory boards is regulated in the statutes.
As of 01.10.2024, there are four doctoral advisory boards (Anthroposphere, Cosmos, Earth, Environmental) within the Directorate of Studies 45, to which the following dissertation areas are assigned:
